We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting Assistant to support our finance department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, is organized, and can manage a variety of accounting and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and process vendor invoices; ensure timely accounts payables
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and reports related to job costing and budgets
• Track and allocate job costs to the appropriate jobs
• Help with lien waiver management, insurance certificate tracking and compliance documentation
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting files and records
• Monitor and manage utility accounts
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of utility bills for job sites
• Provide general support to the accounting team

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within the construction industry
• Working knowledge of construction accounting practices, job costing and project tracking
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
