We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves overseeing payroll operations for a large workforce across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Based in Los Angeles, California, this position offers a hybrid schedule with most work performed onsite and one remote day per week.

Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle payroll for over 1,200 employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations efficiently.
• Verify payroll data, including employee hours, deductions, and benefits, to maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and system-related issues.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to support payroll reporting and audits.
• Handle multi-state payroll processing and stay informed on varying state-specific regulations.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information at all times.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including summaries and reconciliations.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for payroll processes, audits, and compliance purposes.• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing with a workforce of 500+ employees.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and familiarity with other payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll laws and regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing payroll data.
• Ability to effectively communicate and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a large, multi-location organization.
• Ability to work onsite four days a week and remotely one day per week.
• High level of reliability and professionalism in handling sensitive payroll information.
