Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar.Verify insurance information and process patient check-ins and check-outs.Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.Collect co-pays and balance payments.Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.Assist with general administrative and clinical support tasks as needed.QualificationsCertification Required: Medical Assistant certification.Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience as a receptionist or medical assistant in a healthcare environment.Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.Language Skills: Spanish or Punjabi speaking is a plus.Why Join Us?Merced Heart Associates offers a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth.
