Pay: $24/hour

Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Job Summary:
Equiliem is seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to join our team in multiple New Jersey locations. In this role, you will assist in providing clinical care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals while also supporting office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms, supplies, and instruments.
• Prepare patients for physician visits and assist during examinations.
• Take and record patient vital signs.
• Perform EKG, PFT, Audiometry, Titmus Test, UDS, BAT, Phlebotomy, and other lab testing after evaluation checklist completion.
• Maintain patient records and assist with collections/billing procedures.
• Use computer systems to manage office workflow.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, adapting to age, language, or cultural needs.
• Follow confidentiality protocols and organizational standards.
• Other duties/projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED required).
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current CMA or RMA certification (CMA-NHA, CMA-NCCT, CMA-AAMA, RMA-AMT, RMA-NAHP, AMCA, NCMA).
• AHA BLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and using computerized processes.

Schedule by Location:

• North Bergen: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Neptune: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Paramus: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
• Weehawken: Mon/Wed/Fri 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Tue/Thu 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• All locations: Monday–Friday, no weekends, no holidays, no on-call
