Lactation Consultant (RN)
Status/FTE: PT / 0.4-0.6 FTE
Shift length: 12 hours
Start Time: 10:00
Unit: Childbirth
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Two (2) 12-hour shifts a week, every third weekend rotation

Additional Information/Department information: The Lactation Consultant is responsible for inpatient and outpatient needs for the lactating patient. Will be responsible for interview, assessment, and interventions to include education and training with patients. Will be available for consultations with Staff, Medical Staff, and patients concerning drug or other substances and their compatibility with breast feeding. Will be responsible for billing outpatient visits.
