Banquet Server/Bartender "Join the Atira Hotels Family and Build a Legacy of Hospitality!" Job Details Work Location: Lodge on the Desert, 306 N. Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ, 85741 Job Type: Part-time Pay: $11.35 per hour plus tips Schedule: 8+ hour shifts, Monday to Friday, Night shifts, Holidays, and Weekends Job Overview Banquet Server: setup/tending/breakdown of buffets and beverage stations. Tableside service, taking food/drink orders, and post-event breakdown and cleaning. Banquet bartender (as needed): p[repare and serve alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, interact with customers, and ensure an excellent guest experience. This position requires adherence to all food and beverage regulations and maintaining a well-organized, stocked, and clean bar area. Title 4 required for bartender service. Key Responsibilities Banquet Floor Service: Setup for banquet events Customer service during events Buffet setup/tending/breakdown Delivery of food and drink during plated events Excellent tableside manner and understanding of steps of service Drink Preparation and Service: Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails. Plan and present the bar menu. Customer Interaction: Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks. Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations. Check customers' identification to confirm it meets the legal drinking age. Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience. Inventory and Cleanliness: Restock and organize banquet service hardware and supplies Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. Ensure the bar is organized, stocked, and clean at all times. Compliance: Comply with all food and beverage regulations. Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/ supervisor. Cash Handling Qualifications Resume and proven working experience as Banquet Server and Bartender. Excellent knowledge of steps of service and quality customer service Mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks. Computer literacy (Toast POS, etc). Knowledge of a second language is a plus. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean. Relevant training certificate.
